My Dog Lacey

Finally, today I brought home a dog. I am so excited! She’s unbelievably cute — a Brittany Spaniel mix, white with black accents. I’ll be putting pictures up soon. She’s 8 months old and about 25 pounds. She was hit by a car and broke her leg when she was younger and the vet didn’t think she’d make it. She did and she is precious.
We haven’t named her yet, but I think it’s going to be something like Lacy or Lucy or something feminine and soft to match her personality.

She’s already christened our living room floor, so I’ve got some work to do with housetraining. But she’s really smart. She already knows the “wait” command when we go through doors.
So this blog is about Lacy, my cute, adorable little Brittany mix. I’ll be sharing stories, training tips and issues, frustrations, and most of all, the love and devotion we’ve each started building with each other.

I’m off to buy a crate and a house lead (these are critical for housebreaking). I’ll tell you more tomorrow.
