RSS Explained
RSS feeds are really cool. RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication (and several other things, depending on who you ask).
What it allows you to do, in very simple terms, is keep up with the blog without having to actually go to the blog. You get an RSS reader for your computer and set it up so that when I make a post, it notifies you and you can read the information in your reader.
Here’s how to do it. Click on the RSS Feed link under User Actions. It’ll open a page of gobbledy gook. Don’t worry about that. Copy the link in the Address bar and paste it in your reader where it says something like RSS feed url. Or, use this link: http://www.mydoglacey.com/feed/ — you can paste that link in your reader.
It’s that easy. I’ll get some urls of good readers and post them soon. So if you don’t have one, you can easily get one.
Happy reading.
I love my dog,
Anna
